Default rtr/hunk/xtreme/p180???which to go??

hey guys..,

This is my First post in xbhp….i am new to this community…

after a long fight i convinced my dad to buy me my first bike...this is gonna be my first bike and i need help from u bikers who r more experienced and have sound knoweldge than me (me a new comer , have no knoweldge abt bikes)

Futhur i shortlisted to rtr/hunk/xtreme/p150...my budget is within 68k....i am not botherd abt the mileage it gives...just need instant speed and acceleration ......my dream bike is rtr . i love this just because its too sporty and looks great than the other bikes... but i dont no well abt its tech details abt it....

wat i heard abt rtr :
1.good pickup,
2.vibrations present at higher speeds(well my friend said this..i dont even have any idea abt what he said)
3.tyres not good..

now i am quite confused wheather to go for it or not.....

is hunk and pulsar150 too have these kind of problems ??

and every other fellow i see on road has a pulsar... so i may not likely go for it.. but consider it too....

coming to xtreme, I heard that its same engine is present in hunk too….. just external app is different…..

so what do you say ??

Do the following.
  1. Test ride all the bikes from the show room, and if possible also from friends, family etc.
  2. Get to know more about the service, reliability, and warranty issues from friends, family etc. and also check out Motorcycle Ownership Experiences
  3. Put 1 & 2 together and decide on your own. As we say, To each, his own.

Don't go for the P150; please. I mean apart from the 'its way too common' thingy, you seem to be more inclined towards the RTR. Take a test ride of the RTR-Fi if possible, that is one heck of a bike I believe.

The RTR Fi would be out of your budget I believe... But you can go for the RTR Refresh... Among the bikes you have mentioned, its the best machine... Hunk has the same engine as the Xtreme, but differently tuned... Both are good bikes in their own rights but I think the RTR wins the trophy hands down in all departments... You might wanna check out the TVS service in your area before you make the decision... and a test ride helps a lot...

If the RTr is your dream bike, thats the bike you should go for. BUt you should take a test ride of all these bikes before you decide. go with the modus operandi that surajram posted.

Best acceleration, braking, handling, VFM : RTR Refresh. Short stroke motor loves being revved to the limit although the vibes through handlebar are a little obtrusive above 9K RPM.
I would suggest you test ride the RTR because the forward set bars and rearsets take a while to get used to(since you have no prior knowledge of bikes as you've mentioned). If it feels a little uncomfortable its alright as you get comfortable over a period of time but if you're not confident, go in for the CBZ-X as its rev happy refined mill mated to a sorted chasis makes everyday riding involving.
