One more thing for all you Bangaloreans... where do you suggest I buy the bike? (in other words, where do they provide best service?) I'm thinking of getting it at Ashwa Motors as of now.

i got mine from bharath tvs from 3rd block.. had booked it at ashwa before.. but bharath got it for me faster..

ive only had my first service done at bharath and they do a nice job of it.. the service manager is very friendly at bharath..

get the tyres changed before the rainy season.. coz its raining in summer itself

you can read the ownership experience thread to find out the tyre choices etc

congratz on your decision to get the FI.. wait till you hear it switch on

Woohoooo... I finally convinced my dad to get the FI... all I had to do was make him read the reviews on this site and how almost everyone kept recommending FI over carb, and he gave me green signal

Hey thanks terrordrone... I inquired at Bharath and they had 2 FIs of the colour I wanted in stock!

Ordered the RTR FI Titanium Grey yesterday... gonna get registered and delivered this evening!!

Both pieces had a few small scratches on the visor.. the guy said all bikes come with a few scratches on the visor and that he'd fix it somehow before delivering it... is this usual?

Anyway, I'm really excited!

Hey congratz mate!!!

awesome decision.. you will only feel better for making the right choice..

take care of the bike while its new.. (renny helped me run in the bike and it rocks.. )

and the visor.. DEMAND it to be replaced to a new one.. you dont want scratches on your baby

And welcome to the Apache Tribe .. you have bought yourself a beast (in rennys words )

post some pics on the ownership experience thread.. and issues you have with the bike.. you can post it there

Congratz again.. happy riding, ride safe.

PS: if you want to go for the performance kits that tvs will be releasing.. it is NOT possible to fit it on the FI.. (someone confirm this please)
