hi friends,
i am just going to turn 18 in this august and my uncle is ready to give me me his 6 year old BAJAJ CALIBER .I have this special sentiment for this bike because i learnt to drive on this particular bike 5 years ago and since never got a chance to bike. I think this way i could get a good experience on bike(repair and other stuff) if i ride this for around 2 months. Or i should buy a new one(150cc>) |

Since you are new to biking, i would suggest you to ride your uncle's bike and get used to it, a little practice won't hurt but first get a (geared) 2-wheeler license. Maybe later you could buy a bike of your own in the category you've expressed your inclination to. Good luck and ride safe.

If you have learned to ride 5 years back and you want a second hand bike for learning just the repairs and stuff... Get a new bike... Or if you are still in a fix go ahead and rip the caliber. Its a good bike...

Go with the Caliber for the time being. When you graduate, u will have a matured bike market with a lot of options. Caliber is a good and easy to ride bike till you finish your college n stuff

If the Caliber ur talking about is a KAWASAKI, then just go for it. Its a wonderful bike with a gooood engine.
Anyway, if ur parents are ready to buy u a car, then i would really advise u to buy a bike.... and that too a good one. because once they see you settled down with this bike. forget getting another bike
