Default Photo Feature: The Brotherhood Ride

This last Sunday, Born to Ride, which is a Harley owner’s group, in association with HDFC bank and xBhp as their media partner organized ‘The Brotherhood Ride’ in Delhi which saw a huge gathering of more than 140 exotic bikes, most of which were Harleys. This ride was supported by many other superbike groups in Delhi, including Group of Delhi Superbikers, Free Riders Motorcycle Club, and The Brotherhood. xBhp was there in the capacity of their media partners. The agenda of the ride was to promote the brotherhood and the passion for biking. To add cherry to the cake, some exotic cars also made their presence felt.

The bikers started gathering at the petrol bunk near Moolchand flyover pretty early in the morning and by the time of flag off, the number of attendees had swelled to more than 125, and all of them were 600 cc and above machines. After the initial session of greetings and a small route briefing, the riders rode in formation towards the final meet venue in Sector 29, Gurgaon.

The final meet up venue already had a few exotic cars and bikes on display for the attendees. BMW, Audi, Mercedes, Jaguar, Ducati, Harley, Victory, Suzuki, Honda all were there.

The biggest highlight of the event of course was the United Motorcyclists Jacket of India, which was given by xBhp to the heads of the GODS, FRMC, Born to Ride, Bikers for Good, and The Brotherhood motorcycling groups. This jacket is the highest symbol of integrity achieved between the motorcycle clubs of India spread over 3.27 Million Square Kilometres of India. This jacket has the logos of all the motorcycle clubs that we rode with in The Grand Indian Roadtrip earlier this year.

The riders present there also had a chance to test ride/drive all the bikes and cars that were put on display at the venue, and everyone grabbed this golden opportunity with open hands. There were also sorts of cars and bikes, but the BMW Mini was The Eye Candy. Everyone wanted to test drive it. Also among the most-sought-afters were the BMW S1000RR and the K1300R. Meanwhile, everyone else was busy sharing their experiences with the fellow riders.
The group dispersed after the jacket presentation ceremony and posing for a group photo with a promise that they shall be back pretty soon.

xBhp wishes the organizers, Born to Ride, and in particular, Mr. Ikjot Singh Bhasin all the best for his future plans.

    Thumbs down

Nice pics there Sunil like always.

But somewhere dint like Xbhp's participation of any sort. I thought it was all about bikers and not their steeds...But anyways thats my view point on this issue.

    Good to see the BMW's.

Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.
