    Query Moved and Approved.

It would really be good if you could edit your post and format the plan that you have put up, properly. It is almost illegible at the current format.

Good one there. Ride safe. I will only tell you about the places that I have covered.

          Day 4 20-Feb Sambalpur to Kharagpur 438

          Sambalpur - Balam - Rajnagar - Jashipur - Baharagora - Kharagpur

Doable. Start early. You will face bad roads in certain places close to Baharogora. So, maintain decent pace when you get very good road.

          Day 5 21-Feb Kharagpur to Siliguri 657
          Kharagpur - Bardhaman - Bhabta - Jangipur - Malda - Siliguri

This is little difficult. Start as early as possible. Recently I have done Kolkata to Siliguri in 11 hours. after dark it's very difficult to ride in this road. If you can't reach Siliguri, stay at Dalkhola.

          Day6 22-Feb Siliguri to Phuentsholing 146
          Siliguri - Belacoba - Jalpaiguri - Dhupguri - Goyerkata - Birpara - Hasimara - Jaigaon - PHTG

The road in this part is in very very bad condition. So, be prepared. You do not have to enter Jalpaiguri. Take the bypass.

@JAKRAP: Never seen you at any g2g!
Anyways, whats the estimated cost of this ride?

Suggestion: dont ride from pune, its damn boring + risky. Highways will be damn hot till kolkata. You'll get bored n exausted too. ride till mumbai, put your bike on train n ride together till NJP/kolkata.

The road of life twists and turns and no two directions are ever the same. Yet our lessons come from the journey, not the destination.

                Kind of Madmax

@ Spiderweb Thx for the suggestion! I know its hot...but i kinda like the heat

Long rides at high speeds is my cup of tea. Did a 3200km round trip to kerala..that too alone. So u now know the madmax.

Never been to any G2G's bcos i have been too busy riding. If I dont ride 500 kms a weekend(not all b ut atleast alternate)..i guess there is something missing in my life.

No cost estimation. We just ride from here and incur the costs. But am roughly estimating in the range of 20 grand. (Assuming I would need around 140 litres of petrol that makes it a minimum of 7K + 1 way train ticket is 1.5K bucks + Accomodation 8K + Food + Drinks 4K = 20.5K Approx)!!

Thats kool mate. Still Heat causes dehydration, ofcourse you must be knowing that, so drink loads n loads of water while riding.

                    Day 2 18-Feb Aurangabad to Nagpu 472

472+559+438+657 = 2126 Kilometers in 4 days? I'm not saying its not possible, But you can still take it lightly as its a BIG Trip and you & your ride should not take a beating in the first few days itself.

Even I would suggest, taking train upto kolkata or NJP and then start your ride. Because ridinging over 2.5k and 4 days to start for destined location is uncessary burn out, remember you will not be doing this on mumbai pune kind of road and public areas, a bigger part of your ride goes through sections that are not wellknown for riding alone, forget about road conditions etc. One has to be lucky to get pass the section after nagpur to west bengal without any major concern.

ITs your drive, its your plan, do what you feel the best, but do ponder on suggestions given by others, who knows this might be the life saving call.

As I have already shared my two cents, it's not easy. But if everything goes right, it's possible. North Bengal and Bhutan is wonderful. I will look forward to your triplog and pics.

Well Viny, this time am not riding alone. Have managed to find some company, some fellow bikers are there to assist if something goes wrong. I understand that the area which you mentioned has security concerns. We absolutely are not doing any night riding in these places. We plan to hangout at the nearest place when dusk sets in.

Well thx for the advice, am in touch with people who already have done this route before and their suggestions are to ride only in daylight and they havent faced any problems henceforth (Not that am saying we wont, but we are taking all precautions by not venturing out at risky times)
