i have been facing this problem on my p150v1 for the past few weeks..the clutch lever has become hard and rough...the clutch has also lost its bite and the bike just dosent wheelie..there is clutch slippage on hard accleration after the engine gets a bit heated up but this never happens when its cool.. i tried to adjust the cable but its either gets too hard or it gets too loose and the lever hangs loosly..by mech says the clutch cable needs to be changed and if it dosent solve the problem he may have to open the clutch asslembly and replace the clutch plates..but i had the clutch cable replaced just two months back..

i changed the clutch plates just 4 k kms back..

It depends. If you do stunting (wheelie, drags, things that might wear out the clutch plates faster) or use your clutch alot while riding (some people have that habit) it means the clutch plates are wearing out faster.Originally posted by Richard View PostDoN\'t LivE tO DiE, dIe tO LiVeComment

thanks for the replys guys..
i am not a stunter...but i think 4k is a little too soon for the cutch to give away..
yesterday i took it for a spin the bike reached 100 at 7.5k on the tacho
but then the speed just refused to increase and after a moment the rpm shot up to 10k but the speed was still stuck on 100..this is sure a clutch problem...
but last time before i change my plates the clutch used to slip even at lower rpm's and even when the bike was cool..also the clutch lever didnt become hard to pull...
i thinks it not only the clutch plates any other possibilities??Comment
