Guys Yamaha is going to launch 125cc bike named Fazer and also a variant of Libero

Dont worry Darius, if u got the dough, keep it aside cause Yamaha is getting the real Fazer, the FZ600 to India as a CKD.

I too think so... otherwise a Fazer with just 125cc. I think they are just trying to push the Fazer name and image.. btw for reference here is a link to a 600cc fazer

I do remember seeing a similar pic in this months Overdrive(or was it Autocar).. and it mentioned that the model might be brought to india as CBU depending on the cunsumer response.. [] yaa sure [xx(]

I think only the bike name is gonna be fazer rest every thing will be just like other yamaha bikes

Yam should have tried to explore by bringing the frazer in the 200+cc seg. giving competition to Karizma and Dtsi's and even the future Pulsar 200+.

I really feel Yamaha should think about launching a brand new RD. Lets say, a 350cc 30+bhp with CVcarbs, better looks, electricals etc.

It may be late in 2004 or even 2005 but it is on for sure.

SKSy, Autocar mentioned that it maybe a CBU. But one of my source told me that if at all it comes to India, it will be a CKD. And now that the duty on CKDs has dropped so low, I think Yam would prefer to get the bikes as CKDs than CBUs.

I guess it would be a better chice.. coz the prices will be lower..
But we'll just have to wait till further info is given [8D]
