Default Video: Apriliaís Tech Makes Even Squids Ride Well

For the first time in two-wheeled history, motorcycle performance is no longer measured merely by power and weight, but also by how closely a rider can come to exploiting the bikeís full potential.

New technology is enabling riders to approach, or even exceed, the limits of motorcycles that are go faster and handle better than ever before. This trend reflects whatís happening on the track. Max Biaggi didnít win the SBK World Championship simply because his Aprilia RSV4 was fast. He won because his bike was fast and it featured wheelie control, launch control, traction control and quick-shift technology so he could push it to the very limit.

Aprilia Performance Ride Control is bringing those benefits to the road, for the first time increasing rider control at the very limits of adhesion. Itís a pretty slick bit of kit that riders can program to suit their desired level of intervention, but no matter how they dial it in theyíll experience greater control and confidence.

This video explains how the tech works.

Gray-haired riders don't get that way from pure luck.

You donít stop riding because youíre getting old, but you get old when you stop riding.
