
With the two new launches in the smaller capacity market, the company hopes to be able to sell more units in overseas markets. The new models will also help Mahindra to get a strong foothold in the Indian market after its unsuccessful Stallio and never ending to be launched Mojo.
Currently the Mahindra exports its motorcycles to Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Cuba and Kenya. The company will be targeting countries from Africa and South America next. Currently only around 20% of the production capacity of the factory in Pithampura is being utilized, with the introduction of new models and growth in domestic and export sales, the company will have the infrastructure to meet the increased demand.
