Continental has been developing and manufacturing ABS for over 10 years, and now they have launched its new ‘Optimised Curve Braking’.

The Optimised Curve Braking monitors roll, pitch, lateral acceleration and lean angle around 100 times per second to help maintain stability under braking whilst cornering.

    Continental says:
“As the rider leans more into a curve, the system further limits the speed of the brake-pressure increase at the beginning of braking. The resultant braking pressure accumulates in a more gradual fashion. Advantages of the optimised curve braking result in a more sensitive response, greater stability and optimum braking even in curves for the driver.”
The BMW S1000 XR 2015 will the first production bike to be rolled out with Continental Optimised Curve Braking System. We can also expect future BMW bikes to be introduced with this system too.

Good one...But I guess that's already implemented in the BMW HP4 bikes...Though only available in Germany...with a cost of some 300$ the patch will implemented which will assist the ABS while cornering...Please check out this link.

Will definitely help in adding stability and reduce skidding in heavier bikes.

Wow. Now THIS is ground breaking stuff.
But I doubt anything smaller than a 650-700cc will feature this even as an option. But you never know.
