    CS Santosh, First Indian to participate in Dakar Rally: xBhp News

    Red Bull announced today that CS Santosh will be the First Indian to participate in prestigious Dakar Rally, known as the toughest off-road endurance race. The 2015 cross-country rally will take place in Argentina, Chile and Bolivia on a looping 9,000 km route from 5th January to 17th.

    For Dakar Rally CS Santosh will be riding with the kini Red Bull team. Santosh is the only rider who have won the Raid De Himalaya Trophy in the very first attempt. A four-time Supercross Champion in the national circuit, he has also won a number of races in the Sri Lankan and Asian Championship.

                    Great!!! I do stay in Buenos Aires & would like to personally meet such a great rider from my own country if possible. Could anyone please let me know how to contact him if he has some time when he finishes the rally on 17th. As heard for the last time, he was in 50th position.

                      He is currently in 36th position. Tomorrow is the last stage enging in Buenos Aires. If you manage to meet him, then please do share your experiences with all of us and also of the festivities of the Dakar finale

                        Joined the page, & and through one of my colleague, got mail id of one of his mates, mailed him, & was scheduled to meet him today, but later did not get any reply probably he is really very exhausted after the rally..Hope to meet him sometimes later.
