    Kawasaki Z250 2015 gets ABS and Slipper Clutch as standard offerings: xBhp News

    Kawasaki is set to upgrade the Z250, street fighter bike 2015 model with Antilock Braking System and Slipper Clutch for Southeast Asian market.

    Until now Kawasaki Z250 was offered with ABS and slipper clutch only in the Japanese two wheeler market.

    All these Upgrades will surely increase the pricing of already expensive Z250 which retails for Rs 2.99 lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi). Presently Z250 is Rs 60,000 cheaper than the Ninja 3002015 version will be 2kg heavier than the standard bike.

      Only if they bring these upgrades here and keep the pricing same, it would be a good deal.

          Yep, if the price stays the same then only the new Z250 will make sense. Currently it makes no sense to go for Z250 over Ninja 300 for:
          1. similar posture while seating
          2. smaller engine
          3. lack of full fairing
          4. lack of slipper clutch.

          Certainly the total of above points is more than the gap between z250 and Ninja 300. If the new z250 comes even closer to N300, then it will be a no brainer decision.

            A good move, but I was expecting from Kawa to bring the ABS in N650 & ER-6N.

              Happy and sad. Z250 is getting out of reach. There would surely be an increase of 20-30K. I guess Kawa has to pay a good amount of premium/commission for every bike they sell in India to Bajaj which in turn is making these awesome products out of reach for lesser mortals like me. I would prefer Kawa over KTM Bajaj anyday.

                Why sad bro? An increase of 20-30k really doesn't matter if you get ABS & slipper clutch. You can't add these at later stage at any cost.

                  Z250 looks killer in flesh. It is a good 60k cheaper than the N300 with almost same practicality and functionality like the N300. To me after a certain speed, top speed just becomes a mathematical number. I regret buying the D390, I should have waited for the Z250. I missed a reliable double cylinder motorcycle

                    I test rode this bike last week and its a hoot to ride!!!

                    It sings all the way until 13K RPM and is super refined, with excellent part quality(looks to be of higher quality than n300 even)

                    I dont know why this thread is dead Maybe the 3.7 lakh price tag(on road bangalore) is keeping buyers away.
