I think the arrangement has been in place for some time because a couple of tire dealers told me that the Pilot Sporty is being made at a TVS tyres factory -

Hope this tie-up helps in shedding at least some amount of apprehension regarding TVS tyres(specially Eurogrip and Srichakra).

Especially for BMW!!!
TVS has nothing to loose here. It already has got its dubious distinction. Hopefully, BMW and Michelin put a new life into it.
