Looking at the last picture, it seems they have done something additional above the exhaust bent below the seat to probably reduce the heating.

Looks hot as always. This is one of the best looking motorcycle in the world right now.

So, what will happen to the 899 on sale in India currently. Will that be replaced or still the sale would continue to clear the stock?

Yeah, a bigger exhaust pipe "manages" heating better, directing it away from the engine... And yes, it looks hot.

Although, I like the entire Panigale concept more, for its technical advantage and miniature size. Look at it, its just like a R15 in size from the front... And it weighs good too, but the ride is amazing anyhow.

At this stage of time, we've only spotted the 959 in spy shots. Its not even confirmed by the company officials.
It might get tested, improved and retested before its officially launched.

So yes, as of now and few (or many) more months, the 899 is here to stay, as a fine alternative to Litre class bikes, at least market-wise if not spec wise.

Guys, Ducati 959 Panigale will make 157 bhp, or close.... What do you think about it now?
