  • Mumbai Traffic Cops Stop Accepting Cash Penalties

    Mumbai traffic police said goodbye to cash penalties. Starting from 12th January 2016 if someone caught violating traffic rules, will be asked to pay it via debit or credit card as traffic police has finally launched the E-Challan system on Monday. Maharashtra Chief Minister, Devendra Fadnavis launched the initiative. Diwakar Raote, Transport Minister, Commissioner of Police Ahmad Javed and Milind Bharambe, Joint Commissioner of Traffic Police were also present at the event.
