Triumph Motorcycles UK revealed the 2016 Triumph Tiger Sport for this year. The Tiger Sport gets both mechanical and cosmetic changes in this year's edition.
The new Triumph Tiger Sport gets the same engine as seen on the 2016 Triumph Speed Triple. In the electronics department it also gets ride-by-wire, adjustable traction control, multiple rider modes and ABS as standard. The exhaust is new, clutch assembly gets slip assist, windscreen is now adjustable and even the mirrors are new! The bike also gets cruise control. Along with grippier foot pegs, the bike gets cosmetic tweaks to make it look a bit sharper. The bike is available in two colour Matt Black and Glossy Silver.
With the implementation of Euro4, the Tiger Sport had to get the exhaust and a few engine upgrades to meet up to the new standards. Though that makes it a more difficult job for the manufacturers, but it does give the consumer a slightly more fuel efficient motorcycle! Changes in the engine include a revised combustion chamber. The exhaust sounds better and is lighter than the previous as well.
Tech Specs for the 2016 Triumph Tiger Sport have not yet been revealed and we look forward to know more about this bike which is perfectly position between the Tiger 800 and the Tiger 1200. Now we only wish that this was available in India as well!
