A MotoGP bike to be raced at the Isle of Man TT! Okay maybe not quite, but as close as you could get to actually having one.

The kitted up RC213V-S is 95% match to the spec of the 2013 Open class GP bike aka the RCV1000R. So yeah, its as close as one can get to a GP bike.

The problem is that, even though the bike has been booked for all of its 200 units, Its not classified for homologation under the IomTT books. I am not sure how the Suter MMX 500 bike is racing, but I would guess there is a special class for these bikes this year? I don't see it competing alongside John McGuinness's Fireblade.
    Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

Isle of Man TT is awesome like that. They bend/ change the rules to accommodate

That is why both the Suter and the RC will be racing in the regular class against John McGuinness' Fireblade!

It adds to the spectacle, it adds to the glamour and therefore it adds to the number of eyeballs. Good marketing by the organisers if you ask me!
Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!
