Re: Skully Helmet CEO and Chief of Staff Lose Their Jobs
A lot of US-patriotic stuff like the American eagle idol, etc are themselves made in China, so what can be expected?
This software programmer in US, he earns $12000 for a job which he sends to an Indian guy, alongwith $1000, so he's free all the time. It happens!
Labour is so cheap in India and China, so saving costs by producing here, becomes a good business decision, if we're not secretive about it. The concept is still great, and paired with a durable shell, it can become one of the best all rounder helmets, plus value for money too.
A lot of new concepts go down the drain because of lesser stability of a new concern. A good example is Cyanogen which recently ended operations in few countries and job cuts happened in others. It aimed at getting a non-Google dominated Android mod, but not many companies supported this, just a Micromax and Oneplus.---

Last week TechCrunch came to you with the dramatic departure of AR helmet maker Skully's CEO and co-founder Marcus Weller and now several sources from
