Triumph Motocycles reveal the new street Cup at Intermot 2016 Cologne , Germany and will be launched in 2017.

The Street Cup is essentially based on the Street Twin and is powered by the same 900cc high torque parallel twin engine that produces 55PS and 80Nm. The exhaust system is new with shorter upswept end-cans that Triumph says offers a unique, raw, rich and full soundtrack.

A visual makeover has been given to the new model, which makes it look more of an attractive cafe racer. It also gets lower handlebars, more rear set footpegs and a single seat. Triumph says that the rear suspension is new as is the twin-pot Nissan front brake caliper and floating disc.

The safety features offered in the Triumph Street Cup include, ABS and traction control while ride-by-wire and a torque-assist clutch continue. Triumph will offer over 120 accessories to further customise the Street Cup.

The 2017 Triumph Street Cup will be available in two colors - Racing Yellow and Silver Ice with Jet Black hand-applied coach lining and Racing Yellow wheel pin striping or Jet Black and Silver Ice with Gold hand-applied coach lining and Gold wheel pin striping.
