Honda Africa Twin is one of the most capable off-road adventure bikes available in the market, but this Supermoto render by French designer Nikolas Petit is even more drooling.
Supermoto is a motorcycle which looks closer to a dirt bike but comes with 17 inch wheels and road tyres. It is a great motorcycle for riding on bad roads or roads with gravel and for soft off-roading.
According to these Photoshop render, Nikolas has replaced the front suspension and the swing-arm of the Africa Twin with that of the Honda CRF 450 and the wheels are 17 inches with road tyres.
While Honda likely has no such plans with the Africa Twin, it is a very interesting concept nonetheless. Being so good off-road, we can only imagine how Africa Twin would be to ride if it is made into a Supermoto like this one. This, combined with the slightly lowered chassis for a more reachable seat height for shorter riders would turn it into one of the best motorcycles to take on the city traffic.
As far as we are concerned, we would love to see this turn into a reality.
