HONDA has just revealed an updated CBR650F at its pre-Eicma press conference.
The main changes to the fully-faired four-cylinder 649cc machine are an increase in power, Showa dual bending valve fork, revised Nissin brakes and restyled bodywork.
Honda says handling and comfort have been improved thanks to the addition of a brand new 41mm diameter Showa dual bending valve fork.
Stopping performance is also said to be improved thanks to revised two-piston front calipers and 320mm discs and a single -piston caliper and 240mm disc at the rear.
The new front fairing is intended to make the bike look sportier and channel more air into the intake.

For 2017 the CB650F has received a small increase in power, up to 89.8hp from a new free-breathing exhaust and intake management including shorter intake funnels and larger intake ducts.
The Showa dual bending valve fork with firmer damping is also new and the Nissin brakes (two-piston front calipers with 320mm discs and single-piston rear with 240mm disc) have also been revised.
