The 2017 Triumph Street Scrambler comes with a new chassis, which is a dedicated Scrambler Chassis. The engine though is the same 900cc mill found on the Bonneville. Rear suspension shocks get more travel, the handlebar is wider, the front wheel is now 19 inches, and brakes have been improved over the outgoing model.

Ride-by-wire is present on the Street Scrambler, even though the Fi system is still hidden behind faux carburettors. The bike also gets Traction Control which can be switched off as well. ABS also can be switched off on the bike. It also gets a torque assisted clutch. By removing the pillion seat, one can fit the luggage racks on the bike.
