  • Kawasaki & Bajaj alliance ends in India from 1st April

The association of Bajaj with Kawasaki for sales and services has come to an end in India effective from 1st April 2017. Their alliance ends only in India but continues their existing business relationship across the globe. Kawasaki will continue its sales and services including to the past customers through their own dealer network "India Kawasaki Motors Pvt. Ltd." Hopefully, Kawasaki will open more sales and service dealerships in various cities soon.

Bajaj aims in improvising more on sales & services and to widen the dealership network for KTM products. As the KTM partnership with Bajaj has achieved a CAGR of 48% and expected a sales volume of 37000 units in 2017. On this Amit Nandi, President, Probiking Division at Bajaj Auto said, "We have progressively converted our Probiking network to be KTM dealerships". Currently, KTM has 300+ dealership in India offering inclusive of 5 models of Duke & RC series.

Let the good times roll. Finally after months of waiting for this issue to be sorted out the outcome has been favorable for Kawasaki owners. The Pune service centre is located at Wakdewadi.
