    Default 2017 Yamaha YZ450F unveiled!

Yamaha has unveiled their all-new electric start YZ450F featuring the world's first smartphone tuning app on a production motocross bike.

Powered by a new reverse-head engine, this completely restyled YZ450F.

    New reverse-head engine

With its newly developed high-tech reverse-head engine, this YZ450F gives you a wide spread of power for maximum race-winning potential. Featuring a new higher compression head, piston, cam profiles, cylinder geometry, air intake, ECU and much more - this MXGP-bred design gives you the factory performance you need to power into the victorYZone!Power Tuner smartphone app

Connect with your dirt bike like never before with the worlds first smartphone app for our Power Tuner! Using your device's touch screen, you can instantly fine-tune your fuelling and ignition settings to achieve optimum performance. And the sharing function also allows you to compare your settings and race logs with other YZ450F riders!Lightweight electric starter

The fitment of an ultra-light and extremely compact electric starter gets you up and running at the push of a button. Weight is kept low by the use of a lithium-ion battery, and the electric start's unique design means that the new engine's compact external dimensions are the same size as before.

Yamaha explains the "Connected as One" as 'This is the most complete motocross package weve ever created. And its also the first production bike that allows you to connect wirelessly and dial in your own customised engine settings - and maximise your winning potential.

The new lightweight electric start saves vital seconds when youre under pressure and the reverse-head engine gets a new high compression top end and optimised ECU for even stronger race winning power.

With its new lightweight frame and refined suspension, this YZ450F gives you improved stability and agility over whoops and through corners. And its slim and compact new bodywork delivers total rider agility combined with factory bike looks.'

just don't bother getting it to India, ok Yamaha? or Maybe even if you get it, try to get this without the electric start, bluetooth and normal CEAT tyres and price it at 5 Lakhs and don't market it or stock it.. oh and when there's a BS upgrade, just remove it off from your website & keep quiet.. just don't bother to do anything else or update customers and potential buyers.. ok??

Bro, its a motorcross bike. Its not street legal.
And we all know how the market for non-street bikes is. At best, few units of KLX110 get sold, and maybe fewer H2R's... It would require a full culture overhaul for non street bikes to gain traction, which happens only in the long term...

But yes, what you point about Yamaha in general is something one may agree with.
Their Indian product range, apart from R15, FZ25 and R3, are either not that exciting or not that practical or economical.
Additionally, in my opinion as a member, they must market the YZF R3 better... The R3 can itself be their brand ambassador, helping to sell even other products, if people get to know it better. But, I've seen a guy (isolated case) referring to R3 as "the latest R15", because they have no idea what's inside the fairing...

But let's appreciate the good values of Yamaha too.
Their R3 is one of the best overall machines I ever rode. The R15 is a evergreen diamond. Service standards are also better than many others right now...
I guess we can't have it all from any one brand, just like we can't have it all from any one person.
