I feel really good , personally i love the bike smoothness and honda reliability. On the other hand pricing would be an issue for Indian riders.
Why one will go for cbr 650f if one can get z900 in just a small bounce.
I have expected that honda will complete this time with the market in sense of pricing.
Honda really need to think about this.

well, why do you think that the amazing 300cc inline 4s that were manufactured before in Japan are no longer around? simple reason is that the price of the i4 engines are pretty similar in the band.. no wonder the 650 costs as much as the z800, but you must remember that the z is a naked bike and the 650 is a faired bike.. so I'll say the pricing is justified as the "cheapest" i4 around here.. (I think it was the z800 before right??)

That maybe 100% true but the price difference is still almost 2 lakh.
So can't say cbr is "cheapest" I4

Yes Z900 is predecessor of z800
See i will give different prospective of the same point, if you compare ninja 650 and Z650 hardly the difference is around 30k. So again if Honda launches CB 650F (naked one) which i don't think so Honda is going to do would be priced around 30-40k less form CBR 650f. For say Honda launched cb 650f around 7.1L same inline 4 engine, Now if you compare CB 650F with Kawasaki z900 -i4 which is around 7.68L(z900) ex showroom in pune again CBR650F is not on the cheaper side. And why not with the small bump of 50k on can get more 300CC ,almost equal weight and similar or better quality.which is not a bad deal at all.I think so these points more then enough to suffice the point that 2017 CBR650 F still not cheapest i4 engine as similar to 2016 one.
Also being personal fan of Honda, what i have observed form years that they really don't care about sports bike segment for Indian market , they only believe in selling activa and sine.
