KTM hosted yet another track day event on the 26th of February 2018 at the Buddh International Circuit, Greater Noida. The event which was an RC390 and Duke 390 owner’s exclusive, garnered close to a 100 participants with a few riding down from fairly distant cities such as Dehradun, Chandigarh and Jaipur.
The itinerary of the event included classroom training and practical racing sessions on the track. The participants were trained and schooled by experienced national level racers who educated the participants about the whole enchilada of track riding so that the riders could experience the best of track racing in a safe and controlled environment. The riders were also provided with timing equipment so that they could gauge their performance and progress over multiple laps of the track throughout the day.
This is not the first time KTM has hosted an event like this. They have hosted multiple events of the same type since they launched theperformance oriented Duke and RC series in India. The reaction of motorcycling community towards the products sold by KTM has been more than generous which was also a driving force behind the inception of KTM Track Day here in India. The race derived genes of the KTM motorcycles have seen to it that the RC and the Duke series of motorcycles become a huge hit among the Indian motorcycling community especially the younger audience.
Speaking on the occasionMr. Amit Nandi, President- Probiking, Bajaj Auto Ltd, said “KTM comes from a rich history of racing and this reflects and every KTM motorcycle made. Such events are an opportunity for the customers to realize the true potential of their KTM’s in a regulated environment and under expert guidance. We will continue to host such unique customer sport events for our customers.”
