Seems good, hopefully engaging in racing will get more investment in the Indian market and open up new products. Through racing at times data is available which is not found anywhere else, which can lead to region specific innovations.

Reading the title of the news i was expecting something more 'enduring', like some multi day ride across different terrain!
A 90 minute ride around a race track? That's endurance ? Shame Shame puppy shame honda.

Maybe these folks should look up a 'endurance' that i was part of along with Sarvajit , Ajay Vishwanath et all.. https://www.xbhp.com/talkies/tourer/...lum-caves.html

I remember the karizma was involved in more enduring test, iirc it was 24hr non stop ride around a track.. this was atleast worth the 'endurance' tag.

This imo seems more of a marketing gimmick rather than any real 'endurance'.

^^ Dude, how long have you lasted on a track day in full attack mode? This is a race at a pro level on a closed circuit, not a rally.
90 min may not be much, but it’s a start before we get to level of Suzuka 8hr et al.
And the karizma 24 hr run was done on high speed oval proving ground if I’m not wrong. That is purely for endurance of bike, racing is different, it’s bike and rider on their limits.

so the karizma went around the oval by itself ?

I don't have to last on a 'track day' for 90 minutes (and in this case it was two riders allowed.. an even bigger joke).. I am here today after enduring longer runs on our treacherous roads and highways. Ever ridden in the dark on a two lane highway for 3 hours nonstop on a two wheeler.. well now demands more focus and pushes the rider to certain limits.

Am not arguing,Well, it's just that my perception of endurance differs from yours.

Your examples/ experience relate more to rallying, not road racing. Everyone has had their fair share of riding on tough terrains.
I’m not undermining those or the Karizma run, but that’s not ‘endurance racing’.
Yes 90 min is not much compared to other events across the world, but it’s not like it won’t increase in the future. This is a first step.
