Suzuki has launched a limited edition of their GSX-R 1000R named GSX-R 1000R ORIGINS. The new limited edition pays homage to the ‘Icon’, 1985 GSX-R750. Suzuki is a brand that has produced some of the most iconic bikes in the history of motorcycling. The 1985 GSX-R750 is one of the most noteworthy of them. Some even refer to it as the mother of modern sports bikes.
GSX-R 1000R ORIGINS
The new limited edition GSX-R 1000R ORIGINS dons the same Blue and White color scheme as the 1985 GSX-R750. The looks of the motorcycle are nostalgic to the ones who have seen the older motorcycle in action. The only difference is that the modern GSX does not get the blue saddle and grey colored frame like the older motorcycle.The new motorcycle also features some performance parts and visual upgrade parts over the current model. A welcome additional part is the Akraprovic Carbon exhaust. The original parts are also supplied with the Special Edition GSX in a wooden box. The number of production motorcycles of the GSX ORIGINS is limited to 33 (2018 – 1985 =33, another reference) and each motorcycle and the accompanying box are numbered.
