  • Shwet Ashw (White Horse) Team Apache RTR 4V flagged off from Army HQ in Delhi on their way to Kargil

A few days ago, we had reported that a 5-member group of elite motorcycle display team of Indian Army, called the Shwet Ashw (White Horse) was riding from Bangalore to Kargil to celebrate the anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas on 26th July. The team has dedicated this ride to hundreds of soldiers who laid down their lives fighting the Pakistani intruders in Kargil and around in the summer of 1999.

Riding the TVS Apache RTR 4V in special color scheme, the team started from Bangalore on July 2, 2018 and will reach Kargil on July 26, 2018 where they wil be celebrating the Vijay Diwas with their counterparts already posted there and the 1999 war veterans.

The riding team is led by Lt. Col Vikram Rajebhosale and includes includes Havaldar Jangar Ananda, Naik Shiva Krishna CH, Lance Naik Santosh MK and Lance Naik D Sashikant B. They were in Delhi recently where they were flagged off by Lt. General Ashwani Kumar AVSM, VSM, ADC from the army HQ. We at xBhp were a witness to this star studded flag off ceremony, which took place in typical army style and was attended by many highest ranking army officers.

Here are a few pictures from the event!
