Mechanically the bike is just like a regular SV650. But the japs haven’t just revised the paint and added an extra letter in the name either. Clip-on handlebars, café-racer style fairing around the headlamp and some additional panels here and there make the Suzuki SV650X look like a true café-racer. The leather ribbed seat and the classic dual-tone black and white paint add to the authenticity.
The engine is the same though, a 645cc, 90-degree, V-twin unit that powers the regular SV650. The suspension system remains unchanged, with a 41mm telescopic fork and link-type preload-adjustable rear monoshock combo for all SV models. ABS is standard on this particular model.
