  • MV Agusta is seeking glory with the Superveloce 800 concept

MV Agusta has made EICMA a really beautiful place with the unveiling of a bevy of motorcycles, special editions and what not. And here’s another one- a concept called Superveloce 800. And it’s not just a showoff concept, it will go into production in the second half of 2019.

The base of the motorcycle is an MV Agusta F3 800. It gets carbon fibre fairing and a 70s-inspired yellow screen and headlight. MV Agusta has termed this bike as the ‘clash of old and new’ so, it gets a TFT dash, but retains the classic leather fuel tank strap in the style of MV Agusta’s racing bikes of old.
A remap of the engine is also there and in addition to the asymmetrically placed 3-1-3 exhaust, will boost power a tiny amount. Owners will be able to switch from single to 2-seater in minutes thanks to clever design around the new rear subframe.

MV Agusta has not had the best of the times (financially) in the recent past but in the light of a rather ‘hefty’ investment, this motorcycle might very well see the light of the day and god knows what a beautiful day of light that is going to be.

That is absolutely stunning! Can’t wait to see how the production spec turns out.
Every Motorcycle has a tale to be told and there is no greater privilage in the life of a rider than to have truly understood what his Motorcycle stands to tell. Some of the greatest stories in the world are not written, they are experienced.

Bruce Wayne rode the F4 in The Dark Knight.
Batman can use this one, but the question is, "Does it come in black?"
