Aprilia displayed stunning middleweight motorcycle at the EICMA 2018. The Aprilia RS 660 was displayed just as a prototype and we were quite sure that the production motorcycle is quite far away. But we have just been proved wrong as the Aprilia RS 660 was caught testing in the track. According to photos on Facebook and Asphalt and Rubber, the motorcycle is being tested around the track.
And there wasn’t just one bike that was spotted. There were two where one was in its Street attire and the other one was dressed to race. With this, we might very well get to see the first middle-weight sporty motorcycle from the Noale brand. It might be unveiled at EICMA next year and if, our lucky stars are really lucky, then maybe even before EICMA 2019.
The motorcycle uses a parallel-twin engine which is derived from the V4 motor found on the big-bad RSV4. Apart from that, details about the motorcycle are scarce. So, much so, that we are not even aware of precise displacement of the engine. You can read more about the bike in the above link.
