Castrol India & 3M India have announced a strategic collaboration to bring a range of market-leading vehicle care products to the automotive aftermarket. A range of 3M-Castrol branded bike and car care products including shampoo, glass cleaner, cream wax, dashboard and tyre dressers will be available across India. INteresting, hope this stuff is cheaper than the individually branded products and hope that they actually work like they are supposed to.

I don't understand the partnership actually. Castrol has 0 products that cater to beautification of the vehicles. They deal strictly in the engine cabin only.
3M has no idea what happens inside the engine and gearbox and has 0 products for that.
The only commonality I see is - car care(inside and outside).
They might be trying to become like Bosch After Sales Service without spending much.
Castrol Bike Points were established some years ago. I see them dead now in that area mostly due to incompetent mechanics and/or fake oils that were circulated.
