Some time ago, we mentioned that there was a strange entry in the 2019 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. We had reasons to believe that it may be a Ducati Streetfighter. You can read that report here. Now, we have stumbled upon the spy shots of what seems like a naked which looks a lot like what a Panigale V4 might look without fairing! So do we actually have a Ducati Streetfighter powered by the V4 Stradale from Panigale V4 on the cards?

Obviously, we cannot be sure but if signs are anything to go by, it just might be a naked variant of the Panigale V4. Ducati boss Claudio Domenicali stated that there will be more models on the V4 platform. And we think this might be the first one. Though the photos are of very low quality, a few things are almost a dead giveaway. The first one would be the headlights and the accompanying DRLs. They look almost exactly like the Panigale V4’s sans the shrouding.

The front may get a half fairing in the final model, kind of like the Tuono’s. The single-sided swingarm and the rest of the things may also make their way to this model from the Panigale V4. The rear though, maybe a bit different because of what seems like a pillion seat!

If this motorcycle is actually what we think it is, it should make its way to this year’s EICMA. We believe so because the motorcycle is being tested on the track already and it looks almost… complete. So there is hardly any reason to believe that it CANNOT make an appearance in this year’s EICMA.

But then, we have something to look forward to courtesy Officine GP Design, the V4 Penta. It is basically a Panigale V4 which got a streetfighter treatment and boy… this just makes us think that the production version is gonna be something seriously ‘Gimme that!’
