DIY- Rear Brake Cleaning/Sliding Pin greasing.
Tools needed
1. #12 socket
2. #5 allen key
3. #8 T-spanner
Consumables
1.Silicon grease
2.Detergent and scotch brite.
There are two ways to clean the brakes-1. By removing the caliper from mounts or 2. Just by removing the pads.
However I am showing by removing the caliper from mounts.
STEP 1: Remove this rubber cover/cap of pad retaining bolt.

STEP 2 : Using a #5 allen key, break loose this pad retaining bolt while it is still installed. It takes a little extra effort as thread lock has been used during production.

STEP 3: Remove both the caliper mounting bolts using a #12 socket .

STEP 4 : Slide out the caliper and let it rest on the silencer.

STEP 5 : Remove the bracket holding the brake line using a #8 T-spanner to allow more movement.

STEP 6 : Remove the pad retaining bolt completely. Note that I have placed a rag on the silencer to prevent scratches.

STEP 7 : First remove the outer pad by rotating it and then lifting it up and then the inner pad by sliding it out.

STEP 8: Pull out the mounting bracket from the caliper body. It take some effort if it has not been greased in a while.

The pads before cleaning

Pads and disc cleaned using detergent and scotch brite. Caliper sliding pins being greased.

Spring clip cleaned and greased.

After

Other contact/sliding areas greased.

Both the pads installed in place.

Slide the caliper on the disc and then install the mounting bolts, tighten the pad retaining pin and install the rubber cap.
After putting back everything, pump the brake few times for the pressure to build-up.
P.S I have mentioned by steps which are not really required(for experts) and can be done without it. You will get to know when you do it.
P.S-2 I should have cleaned the bike before taking out the caliper.
