Had an awesome weekend with the Trivandrum gang.
The evening g2g to the dinner and the ride to turtle beach the following day , all
of which was just epic. Here are a few snaps of the weekend.

Or maybe because you don't have a big cam (I know I am going to get beaten up for this)

One of the few reasons I think of relocating back to Kerala , the epic G2G's ..!!!

World Motorcycle Day [emoji51] and a Sunday too And what better way to spend than to ride out.
Unfortunately couldn't join Vishnu Vijayan , Vimal Murali and Nitin Joy on the canyon run (heh heh munnar hills ) due to a very important matter "Father's Day" so spent the whole morning fighting with dad over the tv remote and had the best ever family lunch which i helped (yea i did) mom make.
Then came John's call , "lets do the TT" our not so secret code for the fun run along the beaches of kochi and alappuzha on the curvy (a lot) BeachRoad and pay a visit to the beach party hosted by a friend's riding group "petrosexuals of alappuzha" on the Alappuzha.

Though the kerala monsoon hit us pretty bad, with the sea being rough and waves lashing onto the beaches alongside the road, Sending mist down the road which was pretty cool to see in the projector lamps of the raccoon(RC) and thanks to the slight drizzle not even a cat or a dog on the roads , yea it was pretty much us and the occasional car and the one bus that we saw on our way to alappuzha.

And yet another weekend passed by... and as usual the gang was already on road by the time our dear friend Sun rose up in the sky.
Weather in kerala this year has been a bit funny, that the monsoons are already a bit violent this time and pretty much unpredictable too. We had a couple of instances where we were showered with all glory by the god of rain and soon followed by the Sun god shining and drying us up within minutes.
So through all this we decided to play our luck and head out to the beach, but hey fort kochi beach was too near and that wasn't enough for us who were hoping to let out the weeklong steam by riding far. So we thought of hitting our favourite beach in the next district. Mararikulam Beach , in alappuzha.

About Mararikulam, its one of the cleanest and less crowded beach we have in kerala with friendly locals who are not set off at the sight of all the motorcycles riding in formation, they rather help a lot in keeping the whole place uncluttered so that we can park our bikes in the shade of short coconut trees (yes we ensured there were no coconuts left on the tree to fall on our bikes) An hour or two on the sand watching the waves lash on and the kids playing with the sand making castles (or whatever their imagination could build up) out if it.

Then came again the wrath of monsoon we started packing up as soon as we saw the dark clouds building up over the horizon.

We decided not to make the return ride via the NH which was absolute dull yeah straight highways = monotonous dull riding instead we headed out to take the winding roads of coastal road (the beach road - which john and myself had fun the last weekend) we headed out towards fort kochi through the beach road , getting a couple of minutes rain lashing upon us (wet we got yet it was fun to have the bikes running so cool thanks to the cold air cooling it really well , and so the smooth roads led us right to the heart of old town of kochi where we had our "very late" lunch at around 4-5 pm [emoji23] and then went out to the willington island to wait out and watch the sunset before heading home. (and an evil plan of using the almost deserted roads and super wide and long corners of the island to settle the day with a good leaning)


































And awe also met a fellow brother from the trivandrum gang who was on his way to the temple city of guruvayur with his family Akshay.
