  • THIS IS IT - The Royal Enfield Bullet

    Hi All,
Hope you remember my intoduction "Hi Bikers. I am khan from chennai"

I have started dimantling my bike as a part of restoration job. I have posted the photos to show you how good are our chennai mechanics(few exceptions always) the Money Eaters...You can call Man eaters as well i don't see a difference.

I opened the head it was worn out.. not a problem and i understand it is a usual problem of an old bike.

Damages chain sproket, extra chain clearance , Damaged clutch case, Damaged crank, chiggy wiggy flywheel...what a fun

I was lucky that i removed the sprocket nuts and one of the cam spindle with my fingers..see how safe my bike is , I am now used to these shocks and surprises and I feel very happy that i can be of some help to people who love their bikes very much

I'll be still posting some more pictures later of my old bikes and the progress of restoration (step by step)
    enjoy watching and reading.....

I got one more second hand 350 STD

My dad bought me a second hand 350 STD . it was a surprise and now i have 3 STDs and total of 6 bikes owned as of now.

                    Update on the Restoration job
                    1. to fix the bearings and trial check the case fit
                    2. Buffing
                    3. Frame painting
                    4. Engine assembling in a separate jig
                    5. once the painting is done then wiring and fabrication needs to be done
                    6. reuniting the engine and frame
                    7. start and trial run

I'll post the pictures as soon i am done with Buffing. I ALSO NEED YOUR HELP IN FINDING A GOOD DYNAMO with MAGNETO (SR). LET ME KNOW IF ANY ONE HAS IT!!!
