Honda To Launch 125cc Activa In September..??

The Activa can easily be credited with enabling Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India Pvt Ltd with establishing a strong foothold in the fast emerging Indian Two Wheelers market. Not just that, the Activa has also paved the way for other bike makers to come up with automatic scooters aimed at the average Indian commuter.Now, it has emerged that Honda could be merely a few days away from launching the speculated more powerful, 125cc variant of its popular scooter.Said to be (rather creatively) christened as the Activa 125, the much anticipated variant will be powered by a 125cc, single cylinder, four stroke (what else?) motor that will come mated to a variator-controlled automatic transmission.The upcoming Honda Activa 125 could be priced at INR 7k-12k above the Activa Std.

WHAT THE.... Come on Honda, Scooters are enough, launch bikes, bring the CBR400 series or at least the CB150R Streetfire or something else in the bike category but not a commuter please, at least not for now. . .

Well, if they launch cbr400 unless its manufactured here it won't do well(price 3lac plus otherwise).being a Honda it will sell but with duke390 at 1.8 not much.might end up being a sales failure.the activate 125 if released will sell well as the only competition is the Suzuki access.Honda name will attract more crowd.

I'm waiting for this machine to come to India. While it is launched in Vietnam, seeing the features surely its a bang on the buck. I was all confirmed and was planning to buy Suzuki Access next month selling my old Activa, but after seeing the specs in Vietnam website, surely would wait till they release hear in India by Aug/Sep 2013 then decide. If its the same model coming to India, i'm damn surely booking
