Tubless tires for Bajaj Platina
I'm planning to buy Bajaj Platina Comfortec. Bajaj dealer in ghaziabad doesn't have BSIV version of platina till date. They are assuring it to be available till next month. In the mean while I'm searching in advance to upgrade the stock tube tires to tubeless tires. Front tyre size is 2.75-17 and rear 3.00-17. I'll use this bike in the city as well as for touring. I prefer stability and durability both. So kindly suggest tires from best of both worlds.[emoji1]

Re: Tubless tires for Bajaj Platina
You could go for 90/90-17 mrf zapper s or zapper fy1 which would be 90/80-17 for front or can check options in 2.75-17 tires.
For rear, you have multiple options. Ceat Milaze, Mrf Zapper C and Michelin sirac all in 3.00-17.Everybody has their own version of TRUTH!!!!!!

Re: Tubless tires for Bajaj Platina
I went to all major brands dealers and could find only 3 tubless tyres which comes in stock tyre size of platina.
1: Michelin City Pro is available in both front and rear:
2: Michelin Sirac Street is available only for rear

3: Ceat Milaze is available only for rear

So I'll go with michelin city pro for front tyre since i have no other option.
I need suggestion for rear tyre. I like michelin sirac street but few negative reviews are making me tilt towards ceat milaze.

Re: Tubless tires for Bajaj Platina
For front i would still suggest mrf zapper fy1 90/80-17. For rear go for 100/90 -17 options if u dont get a good one in 3.00-17. There are so many options in 100/90-17.Everybody has their own version of TRUTH!!!!!!

Re: Tubless tires for Bajaj Platina
Thanks bro for the suggestions. I have been told by mrf dealer that the tyre they have will be broader than the stock one.Originally posted by ajextreme View PostFor front i would still suggest mrf zapper fy1 90/80-17. So is 90/80-17 bigger than 2.75-17 and is 100/90-17 bigger than 3.00-17?
I want to stick to the stock configuration. Since i don't want to compromise on mileage.

Re: Tubless tires for Bajaj Platina
Sorry brother for the very late reply. I don't know whether my answer is still relevant to you. But I'm still answering so that other people can benefit from it. After riding it for 10k. I can tell you that decision of upgrading the tyre was perfect. Experience & satisfaction of it was even better than owning Bajaj Platina. Grip of it is amazing even riding it at 90kmph with 36 psi rear tyre(although not recommended). It gives lots of confidence for doing off-roading at high speed.Originally posted by PRABHU29 View PostHey man can you explain more about your experience on platina comfortec?
