sticking to the same final drive ratio of the 100, you can fix the 5 speeds 5 th ratio on the RX100, will give 5-7kms more speed with not much lost on breath

Dunno about the final drive ratio, but the top gear for 4 speed is 23:23 ie 1:1 and for 5 speed is 22:24 ie 0.91

Also the rx100 and the rx135 have the same gear ratios ....

Some pointers and help would be appreciated.
What excatly do you need? If it is sproketing you are worried about, then stick to the stock 16/34 setup, doesn't matter if it is 4-speed or 5-speed, as long as your 4-speed bore is stock.

And i loved the quote in the signature area. Grenade launcher !!! LOL.... Seriously.......

May i know from which thread this was??

16-34 is way too tall for a 100cc(even if something special done to engine),
    punching torque & Greatest acceleration...
how about a final drive of 15-42/15-44, with a fifth cog!!!

But tell me something, is it a world of difference? Does that one pin make a visible notice?

Yes, I firmly believe you're right on the shorter rear part because when the vehicle was modded in 2007, the mech changed the sprockets & the acceleration was & is still really great.

Yeah, should be. But give me few days of time, when I'll be removing the old sprocket set & I'll update you with the precise count.

Finally what do you recommend for my requirement?
    1. I want a punching torque
    2. Greatest acceleration & would like to remain less or Max 100 not anymore

I hope the 16-34 should do the work isn't it?

Right now I run on 34, not sure if its 16 or 15 on the frontal.

I would say try 16/34 first, if you are not satisfied change to 16/38.

^^ i would like a higher speed and a lower engine rpm.. dont mind sacrificing some acceleration for it.. so i think ill try 16/38, depending on whats already on, coz a 15/34 is a higher ratio than 16/38 as is.

    15/37

on RX100 if you use the 5 th gear from 135 then you will have

    4th 1:1
    5th 1:0.917

you can use the gear on levels, inclines (!!!) , or if you use a 15 teeth front sprocket your bike will be a screaming monster..what say ?
