    ---------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi guys hope you like it..

Day before i was Very excited because it was to be my first ride ever.
So in the evening i took my mighty HH Passion for a check up, the mechanic said that i had to change my rear liners; i just told the mechanic to tight the brakes (dint put liners because dint have money). My bikes horn was also little lose, but i forgot it when i was checking the bike. Checked the air pressure and then my bike was ready for the big day.
After that called DK Bhau for the Jacket. Took the Jacket form him in a while.
After that had dinner and went to Bed but couldn’t sleep. Finally slept around 1:30 am but woke up soon around 4:50 am, did all my morning chores; and left home at 6 am. Then went to Fuel station to fill up my tank. There i saw 4 riders dint talk to then because was in a hurry, so just waved them off. From there went to the Belapur-Uran Phata, there took a little intro of all the fellow riders. Took Knee Guard from Gautam. Everyone was staring at us as we were geared up.

Then lined up for the a photo. Took off at 6:50. Maestero was leading and Rony decided to sweep. From there went to Gavhan Phata to the JNPT road to reach the Panvel- Alibaug road. Then the formation changed a bit NikhilB was behind me and Rony sweeping. I was enjoying the ride since there was a nice greenery all over and the cold breeze i was feeling like i was in heaven. then took our first halt at the first Toll Booth for 5 min. or so and then again started off. Then halted at the first Fuel Station after that as Rony and others had to fill up. Everyone took out there cameras for our first photo-shoot. Took a few shots and again resumed our journey. After that the road started becoming bad, but increased as we headed towards Wadkhal. We halted at Wadkhal for Breakfast and Tea, filled up our tummies , and were setting of when we saw a few other riders, but don’t know who they were as Maestero spoke to them. Were setting off when a man can towards us and wanted to click a few pics of us, so we lined up and almost blocked the road. A police wala came by us and said, “oh rider bajula whaa naa”..

After that photoshoot we againg took off for our distination. The condition of the Road was more than worse after wadkhal. Due to the bad condition of the roads i had to frequently stop after a while to tighten my Horn. We reached Kihim beach after a ride of one hour or so. We relaxed there for a while, ate ‘Tadgolas’, drank ‘Coconut water’, etc. Then Samarth decided to relax on his bike, while we headed on the Beach to take some pictures. We talked and took some pictures.

After that we headed towards Alibaug city, while on the way everyone was telling us that our Headlights are on. In the whole ride we were told about the Lights atleast 35-40 times. After reaching Alibaug Beach we decided to go to the Colaba Fort but the boat ride was too costly, we dint think it would be worth. We saw 7 poles there so we inserted our 7 helmets in those 7 poles and did a quick photo-shoot with a ‘Gajra’.

From there we headed towards towards the Revdanda fort. The place was beautiful, the broken parts of the fort were fantastic. The route to enter the fort was picturesque with all the dry leaves in the route being blown by the tyres of the bike, wanted to capture that but when we were returning all the leaves had setteled at the side of the road. We parked our bikes and took out our cameras and headed towards the beach, took snaps of the beach, the Fort, of the small creature’s, took snaps of us.

By this time my back had started paining a lot; i tried to maintain a straight position as possible, but couldn’t maintain it for a long time due to the handle position of my bike. After spending a quality time at the Revdanda Fort we decided to head towards our return journey so we halted at a local restaurant few kilometers from the fort. Had nice lunch, filled out tummies and left the place at 3:30pm we decide to take the Nageon rout to head back. The route was awesome with winding turns, i enjoyed the ride there. But at one turn Samarth’s bike got skid and he fell from the bike. But luckly he got only a sprain in his leg, and thanks to his RJays Jacket and the Knee Guards. He got him up checked the bike checked him and again took off. After that while returning we had to deal with a few ‘Spot the Idiot’ kind of drivers. The traffic was very much. But dogged the Traffic and took a tea halt at a stall just after the Toll Plaza. Took tea and chatted for a while and decided who was gonna go where and again headed towards home’s. On the JNPT road myself, Maestero and Prateek we decided to take the Belapur thane road and the others followed the reverse route as morning. I waved off to Maestero and took a turn at the Karnala Sports..
Thus the ride for me ended.. In all the ride was a great fun, enjoyed the ride with you guys a lot; looking forward for more rides with xBhp..
Thanks to DK Bhau for the Jacket..
And to Gautam for the Knee guards, would have protected me if i would have fallen like Samarth...

More pics on page 2 !

Also see pics by chicmagnet !

    Thanks ..
    Warm Regards..

Well written pranit but there is a slight mistake, tail_gunner never came with us. It was Maestro who was leading us...

                      Beach Ride !

Firstly I would like to thank all xBhpians (Maestro, Samarth_M, pratheekkunder, NikhilB, Pranit_Crystal_Myth & chicmagnet) who attended this ride and made it a memorable one ... Its always twitchy to ride with newbies moreover when the roads are unknown and no senior member is present ... But the sane riding skills displayed by all made the whole ride uneventful and enjoyable (except for samy's minor crash) !

Pranit deserves a special mention here ... It was his first long ride with xBhpians on his passion which didnt look in good condition .... But I must say he is a very responsible rider judging all his moves before making them ... not even once I saw him overtaking from left or cutting lanes rashly ... the bike's condition did take its toll on his riding experience but he managed it smartly ... All he needs is some more experience and lessons to learn before he masters the art of riding .... One thing I would like to suggest him is never adjust your gears or anything when riding since you suddenly slow down and lose direction which may be fatal to one who follows you !!

It was a pleasurable surprise to see Maestro (tanmay) waiting for us at Belapur Phata early in the morning ... His exams are going on hence he was least expected to be there ... He took the lead position whereas I decided to tail this time due to which I learned lots of new riding skills and was also able to enjoy the scenic beauty of NH17 !!

Nikhil played an excellent buffer between me and pranit patiently riding at low speeds and adjusting himself to pranit's style of riding ... chicmagnet who earlier claimed to be slow also adjusted quickly to the riding speeds of the one whom he was following .... Samarth was way too excited since he was riding after long time and wanted to enjoy every moment of the ride ... Prateek was also steering his P220 gracefully but I guess this is not the road where the true power of his ride could be unleashed

Regarding the route which we took ... chirner was dropped as our leader (tanmay) decided to take us through NH17 only (Thanks to him, I enjoyed riding through karnala bird sanctuary) .... The road quality was OK ... Then after Vadkhal we took route to Kihim which was a bad road full of potholes and gravel ... After Kihim we took the road to alibag beach which went through the heart of the town ... Again not a great road to ride on with city traffic all over .... Next we went towards Revdanda beach via narrow road full of bumps and houses on both side ... We decided to return via Alibag bypass road which was a small ghat (in middle of which samarth got crashed) connecting to NH17 ... It was also OK types but added variety to our ride !

All in all, the ride was fun and completed in time thanks to the excellent leading skills of Maestro (tanmay) .... All the things to be done (take lots of photographs, return before sunset, etc) were done and those to be avoid (alcohol, rash riding, etc) were avoided !!

Now the pictures from my side !!

Posers at Belapur Phata (L -> R) pratheekkunder, Pranit_Crystal Myth, Me, NikhilB, Samarth_M, chicmagnet & Maestro ... pic taken by gautam_k who was half asleep hence the blur pic

All set to ride !! (L -> R) Pranit on puny HH Passion, Me on my Humble Bajaj XCD 135, Nikhil on his Red HH Karizma, Samarth on his stunning Fazer, Pratheek on his mighty P220, Maestro (Tanmay) on his sexy GS150R and chicmagnet (Nishant) on his P150 UG1 at Belapur Phata ... taken again by drunkard gautam_k

Our first pit stop just after a toll plaza on NH17 some 20km from Panvel.

Everyone was excited and enjoying early morning ride on NH17. Did some bike check and gear adjustment ... soon we took the road.

Very soon we took a halt to tank up as my bike had run into reserve even after getting it filled for Rs 200 earlier day. It was time to get the cameras out and air pressure inside our bike's tire !

                      (L -> R) Nikhil's Red HH Karizma, My humble Bajaj XCD 135 & Pratheek's mighty P220 !

All Lined up (L -> R) Nikhil with his Red HH Karizma, My humble Bajaj XCD 135, Pratheek's mighty P220, Pranit's puny HH Passion, chicmagnet (nishant) with his Pulsar 150 UG1, Maestro's (Tanmay) sexy GS150R and Samarth with his stunning Red Fazer !

Breakfast Time! ... This was a small hotel in Pen where we parked our bikes clumsily in such a tight space .... food was good and we enjoyed the breakfast ... My new helmet was looking stunning on my bike's @$$ !

A person was keen in taking our pics and we were happily posing thinking he will take some from our camera's too .... but he went away with all pics in his camera .... So I decided to take a quick snap of us shamelessly blocking the road partially inviting a near by traffic hawaldaar who shooed us all away instantly !

Our first destination was Kihim where we found a nice Pay n Park shed ... Everyone happily removed their gears and felt relaxed in the soothing breeze inviting us to the sea ~!

A 2HP ride was ready for us but we chose to explore the beach on our 2 legs and take some really nice snaps of waves lashing on the sand !

                      The Kihim Beach !

                      The Kihim Beach !

So many Coconuts ... But no1 to give or take !

I never thought my camera could capture that chopper but it did ! ... We tried showing it chicmagnet's RED TEE but still it did not stop for us

An experiment with my puny camera - Subject is a beautiful shell !

                      The Kihim Beach !

                      The Kihim Beach !

Strange bush/plant on the beach border .... looked very attractive in the bright sun ... hence its in my possession now !

Kisika Dil khogaya hai !! ...... Everyone is searching except Pratheek who was busy watching some1

A 2HP ride ready to take off ...... but sadly no1 to travel on it !

Tried my best to take a shot of this rising wave ...... but all in vain

An experiment with my puny camera - Subject is a yellow dragongfly just waiting there patiently to get clicked !

Tried a close up shot ... but I guess the camera parameters were not properly set

Another failed attempt to click a rising wave !

An experiment with my puny camera - Subject is a camouflaged tiny crab trying to find its way to the sea !

                      The Kihim Beach !

Finally Samarth ka khoya hua Dil mil gaya !! ..... All were so happy

                      Guess Who ??

Back to the parking lot relieved to see both Samarth and our stuff lying their safely !

Our second destination -> Alibag ! ..... Nothing much to do here !

So we started posing with those seven poles

First to go was Nikhil !

                      Next chicmagnet (Nishant)

Followed by Samarth and his Veni !

Pratheek wasn't left behind, he quickly grabbed Samarth's prop and started posing with it !

Finally they forced me to do this !

Side by Side, Pranit & Maestro were working hard to get reflections of all these Helmets on to my Helmet's Visor !

Getting encouraged, I tried my hand on it and was luckily able to capture all 6 of them !

Our third & decidedly final destination was the beautiful Revdanda Beach ! .... They always say "Keep the Best for the Last" and here it comes !!

The endless beach stretching in both directions giving us a stunning view !

Everyone off to explore this beauty !

Nikhil is carefully stepping his foot !

Pranit in meantime has already chosen a strategic location to get his pics ... It was one stream away from where we were standing ... He was having the best view compared to us !

So I made him my subject !

                      Future Photographer !

Our bikes parked safely under the shade of those few among hundred of palm trees, all lined up across the beach ~!

                      The frozen sand !

The alternate brown and black strips of sand for which Revdanda is popular !

                      The Revdanda Beach !

                      The Revdanda Beach !

Reti Bunder just next to Revdanda Beach !

Am back with my experiments ! - Subject is a crab inside his home cooling off !

An experiment with my puny camera - Subject is a crab hidden inside a beautiful shell ~!

Trying to capture our shadows on the beach !

The amazing texture of the beach made it so beautiful !

Finally we decide to head back to the fort for a group pic !

Samarth was lost from the scene and a search n rescue team was sent to find him back .... soon we found him and were getting ready for the group pic .... please excuse nikhil here

In meantime I took this pic !

And the best part of all .... a dark hole, mystery of which amazed us ! ...... finally its revealed here !

Samarth lost again in deep thoughts !

Just next to the fort !

All set to bid goodbye to this beautiful place for some good food to eat !

My way of presenting it !

                      Inside the Revdanda Fort !

Pratheek and Maestro exploring the fort !

The nice green stretch which led us to the fort ! ... Was like heaven in middle of afternoon !

And finally we leave the desolate fort to its lonely fate ... but promising ourselves to visit it soon !

Hope you all liked the pics. C & C awaited !!
