Have lost the will to even take out the DSLR. So all of these are from the phone cam - excuse the slightly grainy quality.
This is a photolog of our weekend ride to as far as we could go to Sach Pass - the most challenging pass in Himachal (In my opinion)
What we ended up doing
Friday evening - Bloody boiling traffic infested ride to Ambala.
18th May-Saturday - Ambala - Pathankot -Banikhet - Chamba - Koti - Tisa - Bhanjaroo.
19th May-Sunday - Bhanjaroo - Bairagarh - 3km below Sach pass (the road was blocked) - Retrace to Koti - Banikhet (through chamera dam)
20th May -Monday - Blood Boiler near heat stroked retrace to Gurgaon. (Temperatures reached 50 degrees on the highway)
Not a good time for a geared up biker with a touring spec riding jacket.
Note for people going there: If you want to skip dalhousie - khajjiar loop, take the Banikhet - Chamera dam - koti route. The guards at the dam will let bikers through once they have verified your credentials. This saves 12km. Don't go towards Chamba.
These are my pics. I will upload more when my co-riders (Chirag on the avenger and Negi on the pulsar) send me across theirs.
Enjoy!

Towards the Pass

Beyond Bairagarh

The wall of ice

Some perspective on its size

Few more - towards the pass

Stony section starts

A frequent occurence, water flowing down the stony path. Was a challenge while descending - what with my ContiGoNowhere CBR tyres.

The blocked road - The workers and their noisy bulldozer were still working up the pass. Expect the pass to open in another 20 days.

My steed - Bootiphul toh hai !

Next set of pics when i get more from my co-riders who shot this awesome looking CBR and its rider negotiating the path with elan

This was the 4th ride of the year and the 3rd where i hit snow, but it all seems just about pretty.
