It was this lovely 16th
Documentation started and at 6:04am I was off for the great solo marathon. Was averaging speeds 100 and 105km/hr. By 9:38am I took my first halt at Karad to fuel up. Covered 287kms in the first stretch. Soon was off from the gas station, speeding at 105-110 km/hr I saw an accident where two bodies were lying on the floor in pool of blood. Got so scared thinking is this a sign to turn back. So many questions went running in my mind. Shall I slow down, am I supposed to discontinue, will this happen to me some day? Oh man, those few minutes I just dint have an answer to myself. Brought some positive attitude in me and continued. Crossed Karnataka border realised that I am about complete 30000 kms on my oddo. As I reached the number, got my bike on the left for a snap. I still remember that smile on my face. Was so happy. And the NH4 all the way after Karad was just awesome. I will definitely ride a superbike once on this patch.
I found a tea stall by 5:30am in the morning where I spent 20mins to freshen up. I was riding slow now. I did not want to ride fast and stop by again, rather I preferred going slow because keeping momentum was more important to me at this point.
