Second hand Ninja or New CBR250R?
This is a semi-hypothetical scenario. I'm pretty much in the market for the CBR and I know the buzz is around that bike, but then I saw this second-hand ninja for sale at about the same price... so which one would it be?Tags: None

Wait for the CBR,letz see how it performs.btw i am against the second hand bikes because u cannot know what type of abuses bike had
.As it is ninja u should be more careful. But if we are selecting a new bike atleast we have a piece of mind, choose wisely.

a second hand ninja for 1.5L??? where???
anyway i'm pretty sure the maintenance costs of the ninja will be just as high as its price tag.
if you think you can maintain it and can get your hands on a properly maintained ninja then i guess
ninja is the best bet.Last edited by yellowspunk; 11-16-2010, 04:14 PM.Regardless, Life shall go on.

seriously??Originally posted by Hyperion View PostRemember that warranty is void for the Ninja for a second owner. I would always prefer something new, given that there is not much disparity between the two bikes.

i would go with the ninja, because there isnt really much screwing around that one can do with that engine, unless the bike has not been serviced on time.
For the same amount of money, you will get more power, better acceleration and a better feel of a sports bike that looks and sounds the part to ( any day better than a single cylinder ).

honda 250r, ninja 250r or mahindra mojo?
Honda has not revealed the bhp of CBR 250r. I think that is gonna be the deciding factor since the ninja and the honda are pretty much same in most of the other aspects. The CBR might get around 25 horses.(the ninja we know has 32). Another interesting bike could be Mahindra mojo, i am sure it will be value for money(less than 2 lakh, 25 hp & 300cc engine).
If mojo and honda 250r get atleast 25 horses each, they might beat ninja to pulp in sales as they both will be priced below 2 lakhs. Personally i feel that splurging more than 2 lakhs on a 250cc bike no matter how much 'performance' oriented it is, is a bit too extravagent. Remember, price of Ninja 250r in USA is less than 2 lakhs. If i have to spend 3 lakhs on a bike, I would rather save another 1.5-2 lakhs more and wait for the Hyosung GT650R or Ninja 650R!
