Shravan starts on Sunday right... Amavas is late Saturday night... So everyone (those who do) can enjoy poultry and barley water till midnight Saturday...

I'm IN for the Sunday G2G.
But not for the Saturday overnight stay.

Just wanted to know about the Total cost of the trip i.e (Saturday sunday trip)!

There's a lot of confusion on this thread and I'll do exactly what Satyen suggested in his latest post - Wait for DK's update.

I am anyway out of the overnight plan . Been touring a lot this whole month. Ride/trip every weekend. Can't afford to do an overnight ride this weekend. I am IN for the actual anniversary meet on Sunday provided the venue is not too far from Mumbai. So I'll post my confirmation for Sunday's meet after DK's update.

Ok! - Update:
DK is working on a new destination - Preferably only ONE destination and would post here in some time!

Untill then some estimates
#Cost for overnight ride would be ~750Rs at max
#Location would be chosen which is neutral to both mumbai and pune (which could be bye bye diveagar)

Remember its an anniversary g2g and all new members and old members are more than welcome to attend!

May be you guys can change the entire plan to mahabi or something, which is ok because of the roads. Nh17 personally been there last to last week has worsen because of rains. Beaches and all is good but then keep it both the days, lets no change the location on sunday cz it would be really hectic from reaching place A to place B. Whatever it is try keeping one location for both the days! will help in enjoying and will also ensure the trip is not hectic and tiring....

supports satyen's logic but than place needs to be changed -- if we keep one destination as diveagar than for those coming on sunday it will be a hell of a ride to & fro from mumbai in a single day

Am looking at one of the ideas expressed by rishabh--lets see how it works out

will post once i collect a few details

Divegar will be the best option,unlike Harihareshwar we will have lot of eating and stay options

So I am in by default.. and I dont care what the destination is.

Though with me "Plan me thoda change hona"... I might be heading to pune on Saturday and THEN head to wherever you guys decide.


I feel lets NOT make it a two destination plan please.
Cause the chances are that the ones who reach the first destination for the nightout would not wake up in time to meet for the second days meet OR would not get to 'enjoy' the nightout the way they would have hope to have!

I am in for whatever destination, via Pune.

Have SMSd RishabH as he has left xBhp for ages now, am surprised his dad aka DK doesnt know that!

Edit: For people worrying about Shravan... Do not worry... Mumbai folks have always been considerate and they would gracefully eat away chicken and the unholy barley water! Am sure Mumbai folks would step up for the cause!

I personally prefer the one posted by MG. it has some great views in front of it. also its near Diveagar, where beach is better than Harihareshwar. My personal opinion

hey folks (especially MG & DK)

i had just a casual word with a hotel guy at harihareshwar. His name is Mr. Dilip Bodas. The pics & other details of the hotel / resort can be found here www.tapovangardenresort.com

I said, we will be a group of 12-15 people with 12-15 bikes . He suggested to take the full building (donno exactly which building, but must be one shown in the pics) for Rs. 3000/- And he also said there is enough space for the bikes' parking. His hotel is near Hariharihareshwar Temple, so the beach is also near by. We may consider this hotel if the previous one posted by MG does not work out.

But my personal pref is with Diveagar, because the beach is more beautiful

Trying some other hotels at Diveagar is well.
