    Why not Mahabaleshwar or (Ganpatipule - Sangameshwar) or Ratnagiri, though its very long,its a nice place     ?

    according to this site( http://www.mustseeindia.com/Jawahar-map/map ) - Mumbai>Jawahar=373kms then Jawahar>Saputara=238 kms
    Or are you talking about another Jawahar?
    I think only Saputara would be a good option or Murud+Harnai+Anjarle.

    Palghar would be like going to Lonavala and back..its just around 120 kms from Mumbai..

    You guys hate hillstations? Mahabaleshwar can be an option..but it would be like going to Lonavala for Pune guys

    After going through the whole thread I see these as the options for the poll. I will be putting up the poll shortly so if someone wants to throw some other destination idea then do it now.

    Options as of now
    1) Saputara+Jawahar(If possible)
    2) Harnai+Murud+Anjarle
    3) Guhagar+Dabhol
    4) Kolad
