This thread is synonym to me. I have another reason to add to the ones already mentioned above.

At Present I am 55 yrs+ and my latest outing was to Ladakh (Hunder and Pangonglake) last September (2011). Factors contributing in my case to be lone rider, is ; (1) my old age, wonder the younger generation would like to fit me in their company (2) the small bike (112 cc i.e. Bajaj Caliber 115 cc)whcih I drive at the most 75 kmpl. (3) the rush of adrenaline as a result of which in most of the cases so far I filled the tank of my bike to the full on the way back from office, normally on Thursday and left for the mountains prefixing Friday with the two weekends and did a biking of around 1500 kms, to and fro, a number of times.
