I am back from this North Eastern Trip covering 5430 kms (from 19th April to 1st May, 2013).
Frankly, this proved to be the toughest trip so far. May be this is the reason very little information was available on Xbhp site, although I got very useful and vital information from Xkmph who have travelled in this sector widely. I thank them for making my trip a success.
Special thank to Mr. Sajal Bhattacharya and his wife who made my stay at their home in Behala, Kolkata totally comfortable and they indeed handed over the keys of their house to me so that whenever I come back from long drive in and around Kolkata, and if by chance they are out, then I can enter the house and take rest.
For the benefit of Xbhpians, I am writing this travelogue in the form of a report, carrying vital information for use by the fellow travellers in future, which would not be very long but surely would be blended with good photographs to keep the interest of the readers alive.
I would admit that being solo has its own advantages (as one can cover lot of ground per day) but, on the other side, cannot cover the visuals in the form of pics as he is always in a hurry to cover the target.
I am attaching one photograph to start with:
Thanks Monk for putting up my sketched Map on the front page. After some trials, I have also been able to put up the link of the route map on google map as guided by you. Here is a link of the entire 5430 kms route of this trip:

The route shows Changu Lake, whereas I went upto Baba Ka Mandir (just before Nathula, as I could not get permit for Nathula despite by best efforts through my sources at Siliguri Xkmph )
