              Some more pics please.

              Loved the Kolkata pics.

As desired by many, here is a link to the entire 5430 kms route of this trip:

Find local businesses, view maps and get driving directions in Google Maps.

The route shows Changu Lake, whereas I went upto Baba Ka Mandir (just before Nathula, as I could not get permit for Nathula despite by best efforts through my sources at Siliguri Xkmph )

                        Day 4 – 22nd April, 2013 {Kolkata to Gangasagar - Kolkata} (250 + kms)

Early morning started for Ganga Sagar by Diamond Harbour Road which is at a distance of around 115 kms. For the first time I had no problem on reaching Ganga Sagar as I had to drive straight on SH-117 with almost no diversions. Almost 90% of the 2-lane road had no traffic and was very well metalled. Only exciting moments of the day were while loading and unloading the bike at the jetty. Could have got the Bike damaged but for timely help from people around. Met my Xkmphians (Joe, Tarun, Abhijit and others) in the evening in Kolkata and spent some really good time with them. Also got vital information for my onward journey.

The jetty which ferries the people and small vehicles/bikes. The cost per side was Rs. 72/- which was reasonable.

Inside the Jetty with my bike on way to Gangasagar

My bike taking me to places...... At Gangasagar

On the way I like this. Although they have cable connections at home, but still like to play the traditional games.

But this was pathatic. I was of the impression that this had been banned long back.

An evening with Xkmphians: Joe, Tarun, Arijit and others

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the seat.
