      Thanks Sanj,

All the best for your solo ride. I hope March End onwards would be a good time before Monsoon to cover that zone. In case you need help, do inform me I would refer a few contacts in the North East who might prove helpful.

hats off to you sir for doing such long trips on a bike. it has rekindled an ember in me which had been put off after my marriage and settling down, that is biking. planning to buy a bike first and set out on such long adventures soon.

Hoodibaba sir, I have just one question. How (un)comfortable it was to ride on the bike for such long distances? I happened to go to Pushkar on 1-Nov and back on 3-Nov. It is ~430km one side, and my butt was paining like anything. I had to take mandatory breaks every 1.5-2 hours. I have a month old TB350, which is considered to be comfortable, and still had sore butt! There was no back or other pain though.

Initially I did feel uncomfortable in long rides. But with the passage of time, I got habitual. But, of course, I also had mandatory break every 1.5 - 2 hours.
